WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO.

Hey ladies, sorry for the relatively silent week but I have been enormously busy at work dealing with a rebrand project so after working late hours I tried to solely focus on recharging batteries and I didn't really wanna force myself to post on the blog if I hadn't felt the urge to do so. But I did do some fun things, here are some snapshots of my life lately. I promise to post dozens of new outfit photos next week. I have to as I have plenty of new items in the graderobe to show off.
Have a great weekend ladies!!!

UP FOR LIKES!

Hey, ladies!

I know this is a blog where I write about all the silly things happening to me and from time to time I share pretty or not-so-pretty outfit photos of my vintage treasures but at the end of the day I'm really dreaming of turning this little hobby of mine into something more meaningful.

Now, after 2 days of shooting the spring and summer dresses of the garderobe I started pondering over the chance of finally being able to sell any of them. I know dressing into vintage clothes is still in an early phase in my country, Budapest is still nowhere compared to London or Berlin but gosh, I would really love to prove that recycling all these lovely rags into your garderobe is fun! It's so easy to pull the granny chic off!

I truly hope that you will find this blog an autentic source for that, it became some kind of mission of mine to show how simple it is to give these flamboyant pieces a modern, urban edge.

So to finally be able to take all this to another level, my dear readers, I will heavily be relying on your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments and tips, I would love to see what you think.

And if you haven't done it yet and you're up for daily updates and interesting bits, please like my Facebook page. I'll make sure your efforts are rewarded;).

Here is a sneak peak on what's being soon available for sale.
The polka dot dress is a vintage Oscar de la Renta and the leather jacket is from Italy, probably from the early '80s.

Have a lovely day, I'm off to Prague this afternoon!

PHOTOSHOOT.

Ladies, I'm so excited! It's bank holiday here so we can profit from a 4-day long-weekend and yay! I finally have time to take pictures of all the S/S 12 vintage dresses that cannot wait to finally be all yours! Yes, it's official, the 'Shop My Style' section of the blog is launching very very soon!
It was a marvellous day starting with a giant latte & almond croissant in the sunshin, then doing all the preparations for the photoshoot, I wish you saw the piles of beautiful dresses all over the bedroom & living room and the pretty pairs of sandals all lined up, waiting for their picks!
My lovely friend, Barika did all her best to make the photos aspirational, I really really hope that you will love them as much as I do. And the happy news is: all the dresses, skirtson the photos are finally for sale!
Will keep you posted on the details and the official lunch date!
Now, after such a well accomplished day it's time to curl up with Lulu on the couch and do a fave series marathon as my lovely BF is out of town.

xoxo ladies, enjoy the long weekend!

SWEET THINGS.

This is the cutest song ever and the most perfect fashion video I have seen lately. Love every single detail of it.
Aren't these the cutest things a girl would dream about?
Enjoy the video Kinga Burza made for Kate Spade NY.

No outfit photo today, sorry, les filles, it's been an awfully busy day. I've been wearing something really cute, I will make sure I share it later:).

xoxo and have a lovely evening,

BONJOUR LES FILLES!

I remember how I instantly fell in love with the French language. It was high school, I was 15, not really excited about the whole French as a second language thing at all and then she walked in, Fanny (with y), the new French teacher. She was not only the most extravagant woman in the whole teachers' board but the way she spoke French made me fall in love with the whole culture at once! Long story short, I learned the language, won a competition and my first trip to Paris, fell in love with a French guy, even spent a summer in a wineyard in Bordeaux. I admire French women, I totally love Paris, my biggest regret is not being a parisienne, myself. To counterbalance that I read French novels in orginal, Morbier, Tomme de Savoie and Comte are the most welcome in my fridge and from time to time I feel like dressing up as if I was one of them, les filles parisiennes.

In this very French mood of mine, this is what I'm wearing today:
Vintage knitted gilet, striped top from divided, vintage Levi's shorts and boots.
And the official soundtrack for today is 'La cigarette' from Mélanie Pain. Enjoy!

Bonne journée, les filles!
bisous,
k

HELLO SPRING, HELLO SLOPES!

hello ladies!!!
It's sunny, it's Friday, it feels spring in the city and I'm off skiing for the weekend! Fingers crossed there will still be some snow on the slopes!

The other day I felt soo bored with the usual dark and plain winter outfits on the streets, I was really up to adding
some vivid colours to the otherwise dull Budapest palette.
It already felt lukewarm, yet fresh so I decided to walk my pistacchio colour Banana Republic spring coat with red accessories.
I hope you'll also feel inspired to colur up a bit, the city does deserve some colours, ladies!

Now, I'm off to wearing nothing fancy but comfy and warm skiing gear but I hope I'll be able to share some photos later on sunny skies and snowy slopes!

xoxo,
k.
