Hey ladies, I hope you're enjoying Easter and the long weekend as much as I do! Mr. Weatherman wasn't so nice and only wind and rain was projected for the long weekend but who cares? There's plenty to do at home! Today I ironed dozens of new vintage dresses, the whole garderobe is ready and excited to welcome the warm weather hopefully soon. In the meantime, I have to share this outfit photo, it was shot last weekend, when we were walking along a lovely street in the 7th district and found this squat house and an adorable yellow VW Beetle in front of it. This was the perfect location to shoot my new favourite find, the knitted maxi skirt. I call it the Lombok skirt as the colour and design reminds me to the pretty handmade knitted bags I found in a tiny shop on a Lombok island. I still regret not buying one of them there, but after finding this skirt I now have something very similar. I wonder if it was originally knitted there?
I wore it with my Gap denim jacket and my old Adidas sneakers. It was a sunny day and as you can see, Lulu did enjoy it as well. Not to mention the lovely company we had! Only 2 pugs can be better than one pug!
Have a lovely w-e!

WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO.
Hey ladies, sorry for the relatively silent week but I have been enormously busy at work dealing with a rebrand project so after working late hours I tried to solely focus on recharging batteries and I didn't really wanna force myself to post on the blog if I hadn't felt the urge to do so. But I did do some fun things, here are some snapshots of my life lately. I promise to post dozens of new outfit photos next week. I have to as I have plenty of new items in the graderobe to show off.
Have a great weekend ladies!!!

DOG FRIENDLY PLACES.
Yesterday a new place was added to my list of dog friendly restos and cafes in Budapest. It's the newly opened bar/cafe/club called GMK in Gozsdu udvar. The place is not only perfect for an after-work drink and gossip exchange but also ideal if you have a 4-leg companion with you.
Yesterday night Lulu was just shameless, she felt a bit clingy so she ended up sitting on one of the chairs, resting her head on the table. In less then one hour almost half of the clientele stopped by to pet her!!! I wouldn't say she did not enjoy it!
Besides this place here is a short list of places we usually go to if we have Lulu with us:
RESTOS
Iguana
Cafe Kör
Menza
El rapido
Okay Italia
Ötkert
Cafe Vian
Hummus bar
CAFES/BARS
Castro
GMK
Hivatal
Telep
Bar Ladino
Kadarka Wine Bar
Csendes
Any tips for other dog friendly places in Budapest?

CUTENESS OVERDOSE.
mes belles, I couldn’t resist to share this photo, it’s just too cute, really. Take a pug, preferably Lulu, combine her with the cutest baby born this fall, his majesty, Beni, the second prince to our girlcrew, and tadaaam, you get the too cute to be true photo as a result.
This was the first time Lulu saw a baby and she was convinced that we brought her home a new buddy, it was not easy to stop her from jumping on Beni and licking his face all over.
They’ll be nice mates in a few months!
Gotta sleep now, too much work these days, mes belles. My face is like a wirn out tee, crave my beautysleep.
nightnight and xoxo,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LULU!
Mes belles, today is a very important day because it was the 4th
November when the sweetest creature on Earth, the cutest pug in town,
Lulu was born.
Lulu is 2 today and she is a true blessing, completely changed our lives and she is a true member of our family.
I remember how I’ve been begging David for a dog for ages and every time I opened a birthday or Christmas present I cannot say I was not a little bit always disappointed that it was not a dog. Then we had this serious, adult-like conversation and David said I could have a dog if it was MY dog and MY responsibility. It’s a long-term decision. I knew it was true. Having a dog is not only costly but requires true dedication, cosistence and time. They say having a dog is only for those that cannot be talked out of it.
When we finally agreed on all the conditions of keeping a dog I already knew that I wanted a pug. It’s the cutest breed on Earth and it’s not only suitable for those living in the city and not having a garden (sleeping 14 hours a day) but it’s also the most sociable creature, getting on so well with children and other animals. I’m not saying that proper training is not needed but today Lulu is dog we can take to restaurant or basically anywhere knowing that she’ll be fine and everyone will just love her.
Here are the cutest photos of her childhood, mes belles.
Happy birthday big girl, it’s your day!

BLUE COLLAR WORKER.
oh, and I couldn’t resist to share this photo, that’s Lulu in her new blue collar. Isn’t she the prettiest?
SUNDAY.
Hello mes belles, yesterday I have spent the most relaxing and tranquille Sunday afternoon at home, it was a typical October lazing afternoon, gloomy and grey weather outside, warm and lovely atmosphere inside.
I couldn’t rest though (the usual thing) I had this urge to make an apple pie. This was an American pie recipe, it’s so easy and rewarding, especially if you have some unattended guests popping in.
Lulu was the greatest sous-chef ever, snoring heavily on the couch.
I have some new vintage items arriving today, I’ll make sure to keep you posted!
Have a great week, mes belles, with less rain and grey clouds. I cannot beleive it’s actually already dark and it’s just 4:30 pm.

WORKING GIRL.
WORKING GIRL
There was this movie, Working Girl, when I was pretty young, with Harrison Ford, Melanie Griffith and Sigourney Weaver and I cannot really recall the story in details but there was a ski accident and the boss had to stay home, so the talented secretary (Melanie Griffith) got the chance to show the world how great she really was and amaze the biggest client of the company (in the boss’s absance). OMG, the hairdos and costumes in this movie are so ’80s! Well, it’s a 1988 movie (now I looked it up on imdb) so there’s nothing surprising about it, right?
I really don’t know why this movie came to my mind when I decided to post this outfit photo, maybe because that’s how I felt like today morning, a working girl!
Hope you’ll like this beautiful vintage shirt with a houndstooth pattern all over and beautiful shades of mauve & plum!
That’s how an otherwise boring Wednesday workday can be turned into something less ordinary!
Night night, mes belles!!!

BAMBI.
Today David’s agency created a pro-social campaign for Transparency International and as the weather was sunny and the location was great (a former leather factory) we joined him for the last couple of hours of the shooting. Lulu had a great time discovering the trash around the building and now she is so tired that she is snoring out loud in my lap.
I wore vintage Levi’s shorts, a vintage pair of western boots, a Bambi sweatshirt found @ H&M kids.
Night, night, mes belles! xoxo

haha, Lulu is a bit out of herself on this photo but she is very very sleepy!!! Yesterday night we tried food @Bar Ladino and it’s been great. Especially if it’s Friday night and you accompany food with some gorgeous red wine. Happy weekend, mes belles! xoxo
